Dogs
Posted on June 2nd, 2009 at 2:31 pm by and

Dogs are so playful.
They want to play everyday.
And when you see that face.
All you have to say is okay.
Then you play with them till the end of that day.

I love dogs.
They are so cute and furry.
I love my dog.
And I think he loves me.
That’s my story.

Roller Coaster

This picture is when I went to Michigan Adventures and rode a roller coaster! Those two people you see on the roller coaster is me and my sister. The person waiting in line is just somebody who’s waiting in line.

My Name Poem
Posted on May 29th, 2009 at 2:29 pm by and

This is my name poem. Each letter stands for something. Although it doesn’t really rhyme because it’s a vertical poem. I only have three letters in my name, so it was pretty easy to come up with this poem.

My response to Unique United States
Posted on May 27th, 2009 at 2:11 pm by and

Wow, that’s like no freedom at all!!!!! In the very first sentence on the second paragraph it talks about this person who has to have a fake identity! Just for saying the sites were reactivated in the morning. That’s surprising! Once the block was gone on facebook, it came back in just a few hours! It stayed blocked till Tuesday morning and the reason is unknown. My reaction is still like wow to that article! That would be bad not to be able to go onto the internet and on facebook, twitter, myspace, and other sites. I’m glad we have freedom in united States!

Hope

I hope to do many things. Like this summer I hope to go camping, Michigan’s Adventures, Lake Michigan, and fishing. I also hope that I would get good grades by the end of this year and talk to my friends over the summer. Another thing that I hope to do this summer is to go to Frankenmuth, Michigan. That place is a nice little city where they have the biggest Christmas store ever. Usually when I go there I go to that store and buy myself a christmas toy-in the summer! That’s what I hope to do this summer.

The Last Challenge
Posted on May 21st, 2009 at 2:10 pm by and

These challenges that I’ve done helped improve my communication skills a lot. I mean like I used to be a little afraid to post anything on the internet. Although after doing these challenges I know that it’s okay to post some things about yourself as long as they don’t give out your name or personal information. I also learned that don’t post any pictures of yourself and never give out your full name. That’s how those challenges improved my communication skills.
Blogging could become an integral a part of the school’s curriculum. It teaches you about internet awareness like never posting pictures of yourself. It also teaches you how to come up with good quality answers to questions. The last reason why this could become an integral part of the school curriculum is that it teaches you punctuation, proper paragraph format, and how to post links and images on your blog.
I would probably take part in a challenge. I would take part in another challenge because it’s kind-of-fun. I mean like I can post stuff about the challenge and I can post images and links. The very last reason why I would take part in another challeng is because it can teach me more about proper paragraph format, spelling, punctuation, and I can learn more about posting stuff on my blog.

My experiences this year
Posted on May 20th, 2009 at 2:20 pm by and

This year has gone by really fast! It feels like I just walked in the doors to my first day of seventh grade and then it all ended in a day. This year has gone by good and bad. In the beginning of the year it was going by fast because it was actually fun to go to school. Although in the middle and end of the year it has been going by pretty slowly because well sometimes my friends can get into fights or become friends with people I don’t like.
The biggest surprises for me this year is when I figured out that my best friend was moving. That was really surprising for me! Another thing that was surprising was when my friend became friends with somebody I don’t like. That was a sad surprise and so was the other one.
The achievements I was most proud of was when I got all A’s on my report card. I was so happy! Although I got an A- in one of my classes, but that’s still an A. That report card was for the second trimester and I got a shiny gold sticker on it.
The wackiest moment this year was when I had to do a video with me and two other people. It was in ELA and we had to do a short clip on a song, poem, or rap on a story we read. my group did a song where we had to clap and sing. We were a little scared to sing, so we just read the song.
The most I’ll miss from seventh grade is my friends. I mean I’ll be able to see some of them in eigth grade, but some of my other friends will be moving. I’ll also miss the nice teachers I have in seventh grade. The teachers were so nice and when I got stuck on an assignment they would help me.
The most I look forward to when I go to eighth grade is my friends that didn’t move. I also look forward to seeing the new teachers I get.The last thing I look forward to going to eighth grade is the subjects I’ll be learning.

Reduce, Renew, Recycle
Posted on May 19th, 2009 at 2:08 pm by and

In my house we recycle. We recycle our old water bottles and our pop cans. Usually, what we do is that we put all of our water bottles in a bag. Then when it gets all full we take it to this recycling place. The reason why we recycle is because it helps the environment. My school also encourages students to recycle. They tell us to recycle our water bottles and our papers that we don’t need. Fortunately, my school has recycling bins that we can put our recyclable things in. Then they just do the rest.

Volunteering
Posted on May 18th, 2009 at 2:16 pm by and

The article I read was about people in Australia who volunteer to help their community out. I thought this kind of related to me because I volunteer to help my community out. I help pick up trash with some other people and I guess that helps my community. It’s kind of like green team except we don’t really have a name. We also encourage people to recycle their recyclable trash. I probably don’t work as much as those volunteers in Australia, but I still work to help out my community. People in Australia are an essential part of their community and I probably help out my community by making sure that the people in the area won’t have to pick up trash and will recycle. That’s why I thought that the article I read about people helping out their community related to me.

My favorite sports
Posted on May 14th, 2009 at 2:25 pm by and

My favorite sports are tennis, swimming, badminton, and bowling. I don’t really do competative sports or anything, I just do it for fun. Usually, my family and I would go to MSU to swim. We also go to MSU for tennis and sometimes basketball. I usually just play with my dad and my sister. My mom well she doesn’t really play with us. Tennis and Badminton are awesome because it improves my hand cordination. Swimming is awesome because you can play in the water. My last favorite sport is bowling because you get to knock down pins with a ball.
